Colin McRae 4 on both the XBox and on the PS2

Gran Turismo 2 for the PS1 - After the monster hit that was Gran Turismo, the sequel Gran Turismo 2, has a more than mammoth task ahead of it, but surpass it does and by some distance. The two gaming discs contain an Arcade version to get you racing straight away, or the Simulation mode where you have to race for cash to buy and upgrade your cars. Realism is the core of GT2 so you really do have to get your racing gloves on.

Gran Turismo 3 A Spec - What more can be said? A must buy for the Play Station 2. Super realistic graphics and makes use of the physics processor within the PS2 to great effect. Each car featured took over a week to model! I have to admit, that I actually went out on the day of the release and bought not only GT3, but also the GT3 steering wheel, and a PS2! Yes until that day the last console I had owned was an Atari VCS but GT3 looks so good that I went out and bought a PS2! Now a must buy as it has been released in the Platinum cut priced range.

Gran Turismo 4 - The best just got better! If you thought GT3 was good you have to see GT4, it is so realistic.

So what can come after GT3-A Spec? It has to be Gran Turismo 4 which is due out the week after Christmas (now that's BAD timing!). Promising 100 tracks from New York to the Grand Canyon, 500 cars, and an online mode for taking on 5 other competators! Presently available for preorder from Amazon with 25% off.

World Rally Championship - After GT3 this must be the next on any Impreza owners wish-list. You can be Richard Burns driving in the 2001 World Rally Championship!

Although the packaging claims to have all of the tracks (tracks? its stages d'uh) I'm pretty sure this isn't true and the stages are particularly shorter too. Then again I've only played it in normal mode and have yet to unlock professional mode. Even so its pretty addictive and is different enough from GT3 to recommend it.

As WRC has made it into the Platinum selection what do you suppose replaced it?
